sipXecs (pronounced sip-eks-ee cee es) is a modular scalable communications solution for enterprises of all sizes. It provides a highly available SIP routing core?integrated with a growing suite of communications services all managed through a unified web based management application. sipXecs provides?PBX telephony services integrated with instant messaging, and allows the use of advanced communications tools like video calling.
A brand new version of sipXecs came out in december 2012 and VUC regular Thomas Peterseil would like to tell us a little more about this PBX, which he has been using at his university in Austria for over 2 years, with hundreds of phones in production.
